Hilary Jackendoff Is Grateful For Self-Inquiry
When life gets tough, most of the time, people just want easy answers. So they seek for answers outside of themselves - online, in relationships, at work. And while some external findings do bring forth temporary clarity, it's never the clarity that brings forth long-lasting results. The answers most of us are seeking are answers that are only found when we stop searching outside of us and turn inward.
Two years living as a sannyasin (yogic monk) at an ashram and eight years fully immersed in a guru-based, Tantric Yogic tradition, Hilary Jackendoff ultimately came to the realization that she would never find the freedom she was seeking if she kept searching outside of her Self. In this conversation, we expand on the journey of turning inward and learning how to be (as well as the importance of being) our own teacher.
Hilary is an Ashram-trained Yoga Nidra and Meditation Teacher, Teacher Trainer, and Human Design Reader. You can explore her services here and follow her on Instagram here.
